The electromagnetic flowmeter is a velocity-type flowmeter with high precision and high reliability, which is widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical engineering, iron and steel, food, electric power, papermaking, water treatment, water supply, heating, and environmental protection.

The electromagnetic flowmeter consists of two parts: the sensor and the converter. The sensor is composed of parts such as the measuring tube, electrodes, exciting coils, iron core, and housing. After amplifying, processing, and calculating the flow signal, the converter can display the instantaneous flow and cumulative flow, and output signals such as pulses and analog currents, which are used for the measurement and control of fluid flow. The PMF series of electromagnetic flowmeters uses intelligent converters, which not only have functions such as measurement and display, but also support functions such as remote data transmission, wireless remote control, and alarms.

PMF series electromagnetic flowmeters:

 It is suitable for conductive media with a conductivity greater than 5uS/cm. It has a wide range of nominal diameters, and can adapt to various actual environmental conditions. It has multiple power supply methods and various signal outputs. The Low Conductivity Flow Meter function is a specific function specially developed to solve the problem that the flow signal is affected by noise and interference signals due to the low conductivity of the fluid medium, resulting in excessive fluctuations in the flow display. Compared with ordinary electromagnetic flowmeters, the following improvements have been made:

1. Increase the excitation frequency to 25HZ to increase the number of original data collected for the flow signal.
2. Improve the signal processing speed, enabling the system to react in real time to the changes in the current flow signal.
3. Add a filtering algorithm to remove system noise and interference signals.

Field Application
The fluid sites of softened water and filtered water with a conductivity greater than 10us/cm.

 

The Slurry Function is a specialized feature developed specifically for the situation where the presence of solid particles in the fluid medium causes the flow signal to jump.

Compared with ordinary electromagnetic flow meters, the following improvements have been made:
Increase the excitation frequency to 25Hz, thereby increasing the quantity of the original flow signal data.
Enhance the signal processing speed, enabling the system to react to the current changes in the flow signal in real time.
Add a filtering algorithm to improve the anti-interference ability of the flow signal.
